While we’re going through complicated times related to the international crisis and the swine influenza, we hope that this newsletter will work as a way of resting a little bit from reality and connecting ourselves again with leisure, pleasure and dance.

Entry to the 7th Dance World Cup is free of charge, and it may be carried out from 1 June to 6 July 2009, via the Internet at www.mundialdetango.gob.ar. Couples may be of any nationality and both members must be at least 18 years old.

Between 14 and 22 August the City offers the greatest tango Festival, featuring free shows, exclusive performances, tributes, premieres of original productions, lectures, seminars, interdisciplinary spaces and appearances by both established and emerging artists of the genre. From 23 to 31 August will take place the 7th Dance World Cup, the celebration that establishes Buenos Aires as a mecca for tango dancers from all over the world.
