Due to the tango events that will take place during next August, we specially recommend to travel to our city so as to enjoy these marvelous festivals. Therefore we suggest reading the last part of this newsletter where we present a special offer from Caserón Porteño.

Even when during July there are no interesting activities related to tango, on the next month of August important tango events are being developed.

Between August 14^th and 22^nd the Tango Festival will take place. Here a wide variety of free shows, exclusive performances, tributes, premieres of original productions, lectures, seminars, interdisciplinary spaces and appearances by both established and emerging artists of the genre will be presented. For more information, see www.festivaldetango.gob.ar.

Afterwards, from August 23rd to 31st the 7th Dance World Cup will take place. This is the celebration that establishes Buenos Aires as a Mecca for tango dancers from all over the world. The entry may be carried out until July 6^th, it is free and it can be done online. Couples can be of any nationality. This event will choose the best dancers in the categories “Salon Tango” and “Stage Tango”. For more information, see www.mundialdebaile.gob.ar.

Apart from these events that are organized by the city government, also a private festival will be held from August 10^th till the 16^th: “Leaders Tango Week”. For more information, see www.leaderstangoweek.com.
