Nº 18 – September 09

During August the Tango Festival and the World Tango Championship took place. A detail of the results is shown below.

On the other hand, during then month of September many theatre plays, dance shows, exhibitions and festivals are being held. Therefore this newsletter is specially full of interesting events. We hope you enjoy it.

On August 31st the World Tango Championship has ended. We’d like ton take this occasion to communicate its results in both cathegories.

The Japanese couple of Yamao and Kyoko Yamao was proclaimed winner in the category "Salon Tango". Colombians Edwin León and Jenifer Arango completed the podium in second place, and the Argentine couple of Jorge Mariño and Sara Parnigoni in third place.
As for the specialty "Stage Tango", the devoted couple was formed by Jonathan Spitel and Betsabet Flores, from Cordoba capital. Second place went to Cristian David and Manuela Rossi, from Villa Allende (Córdoba), and third place went to Cristian Andres Lopez and Nao Tsutsumishita, fromTokyo ( Japan ).
